Description
Ultra EMG is designed so that sessions emphasizing neuromuscular or musculoskeletal content are concentrated in three day sessions. This feature will allow physicians who wish to focus on one or the other of these to register for a three-day session rather than the entire course.

Objectives
Upon completion of this continuing medical education activity participants will be able to:1. Determine the best tests for common clinical presentations of pain, paresthesias and/or weakness;
2. Employ fundamental and advanced techniques in the EMGexamination;
3. Review the evolving computerization of EMG instrumentation;
4. Determine the most effective use chemodevervation and neuroblocking agents for the treatment of pain, dystonia, spasm, or spasticity;
5. Identify and understand the physiology of waveforms associated with electromyographic findings;
6. Employ fundamental and advanced techniques in ultrasound examinations of nerve entrapments and common musculoskeletal conditions;
7. Evaluate and improve the quality of his/her electrodiagnostic reports.
8. (Optional) Assess his/her preparations for the Oral EMG Board Exam of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM, http://www.abemexam.org).
