Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Define the Wounded Healer archetype and the connection to compassion and healing in the medical profession.
- Identify ways in which the Wounded Healer archetype applies to their own professional experience.
- Recognize the potential impact of moral distress, imposter syndrome, and isolation on professional identity and wellbeing for practicing physicians during the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Identify the protective role afforded by sharing meaning and purpose in community with colleagues.
- Construct steps forward for strengthening resilience in challenging times.
