Description
Ultrasound technology has outpaced the education currently in place at the undergraduate, graduate and continuing medical education levels. The WCUME aims to bring ultrasound leaders together to plot a new path forward in teaching how ultrasound technology can help medical and surgical patients in the 21st
century.

Objectives
1. Describe the ongoing relationship between WINFOCUS and SUSME as it relates to the World Congress of Ultrasound in Medical Education.
2. Define the generational differences within those trying to learn ultrasound at various stages of medical education.
3. Identify basic, intermediate, and advanced ultrasound applications that are taught within medical school, residency and fellowship and during faculty development.
4.Connect with others in the ultrasound community, industry, and medical education.
5. Perform common ultrasound procedures and complete practical scanning on models, simulators and/or cadavers.
6. Assess best practice in teaching ultrasound at the UME, GME, and CME level
