Objectives
- Recognize the extent of and reasons for treatment nonadherence among people with severe and persistent mental
Illness (SPMI) and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Reduce errors in diagnosing individual mental health and/or dual disorders.
- Increase awareness of complications associated with Xylazine withdrawal management and wound care.
- Leadership strategies for effective supervision.
- Recognize trends in substance use admissions among young adults.
- Delineate types and causes of neurologic disorders
- The unique challenges of substance-using pregnant people including systemic barriers, stigma, and the specific
psychological and social challenges faced by substance using pregnant people.
- Deeper knowledge regarding the correlation between addiction and suicide.
- Gain insights into the practical implications of MI, MET and CM in the treatment of stimulant use disorders.
