Description
Syncope and atrial fibrillation are common disease entities, both leading to frequent hospital admissions and to significant morbidity. Both are often associated with other syndromes such as sinus node dysfunction and stroke. Both are multifactorial in etiology. As most electrophysiologist are aware: they can both be challenging to treat. This educational activity will discuss indications for implantable cardiac monitors; new leadless pacemaker technology; and new mapping software during cryo-ablation.

1. Describe the indications for an implantable cardiac monitor;
2. Discuss new leadless pacemaker technology;
3. Review new mapping software during crypto-ablation.
