Description
The Schwartz Center Rounds is a multi-disciplinary forum where clinical caregivers and non-clinical
faculty and staff discuss social and emotional issues that arise in caring for patients. The Rounds have been proven to strengthen teams, teach communication skills and support caregivers so that healthcare organizations can offer the most compassionate, patient-centered care possible.

Objectives
1. Have improved teamwork and interdisciplinary communication and appreciation for the roles and
of colleagues from different disciplines
2. Feel more supported within their department and organizations

4. Have decreased feelings of stress and isolation and more openness to giving and receiving support.
5. Have increased insight into the social and emotional aspects of patient care
6. Have increased feelings of compassion toward patients and increased readiness to respond to patients' and families' needs
