-To better understand the importance of cultural competency as it relates to mental health care.
-To better understand the varying view and attitudes Muslim populations may have towards the field of psychiatry.
-To better understand barriers to treatment utilization among Muslim populations.
-To be able to incorporate religious screening tools during psychiatric assessments.
