Description
Patients with depression, anxiety, or other mental health conditions and a substance abuse disorder are treated as a dual diagnosis. When mental health conditions and substance abuse occur together, the effects of each can be worsl.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment is the subject of this week's East Hospital Grand Rounds. Natalie Klag, MD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, is the expert panelist in this MedNet 21 webcast planned and moderated by Shengyi Mao, MD, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, and Medical Editor of MedNet 21. This presentation will be available as an in-person presentation in Wallace Auditorium beginning at 12:00 noon, Friday, April 25. Box lunches or lunch vouchers will be available to participants on a first-come basis.
