Objectives

1. To provide
patient-oriented teaching regarding the diagnosis, diagnostic work-up,
therapeutic and supportive management of Hematology and Oncology disorders.
 
2. Fellows should
demonstrate competence in the performance of BMTs, ordering toxicities of
chemotherapy, and response assessment using internationally accepted response
criteria.

3.         To develop skills in
education patients about the rationale and goal of clinical trial, trial
design, side effects of the study drug and in obtaining informed consent.

4.         To recognize critical
illness and can independently initiate emergent and ongoing management
strategies including chemotherapy regimen, supportive care, or palliative
measures.
