Objectives

-Distinguish between fixed and dynamically learned treatment policies, and the clinical trial designs used to develop them.

-Trace decentering as a convergent, trainable proxy marker of self-awareness across treatments such as Emotion Regulation Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.

-Examine how to develop adaptive interventions that move from therapist-delivered support to independent self-regulation, with internalization of regulatory capacity as the endpoint.
