Today, you can still find morphine in almost every hospital in the world. But our understanding of pain has improved dramatically along with the many alternatives to morphine that can help provide relief to patients suffering from intractable pain. This is not a small number of patients, in fact, it is estimated that about one out of every eleven people suffer from chronic pain of some kind or another. On this Mednet webcast, we’re going to take a close look at pain and the options for treating it.
