Pneumonia Mimics

July 1st, 2011 - July 1st, 2014
1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Hours

Description

Today on MedNet, we're going to review some of the more interesting patients that I’ve encountered in the past few years that were billed as pneumonia but actually ended up having something altogether different. Over the next hour, Dr. Allen will be presenting ten cases that illustrate the spectrum of pneumonia mimics and use these cases to go over the approach to patients with suspected pneumonia who are not improving and to alert you to some of the pitfalls that you need to avoid in your own clinical practice.
