Description
Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Approach to Neuropathy. Our goal is to provide a succinct, but inclusive overview of peripheral neuropathies in a way that is easy, systematic, and meaningful to primary care providers. Primary care providers should be able, after our talk, to know when to suspect a peripheral neuropathy (and distinguish from other conditions), what tests to order, and how to manage pain. In addition, they should be able to identify atypical presentations of peripheral neuropathy (CIDP, GBS) and know that these patients require more urgent care and/or hospital admission.
