Description
The OSU Hand & Upper Extremity Symposium will address minimally invasive surgery with the notion that big gains may be possible with small surgical cuts. This concept will be discussed through debates in nerve surgery; minimally invasive techniques in fracture fixation and soft tissue repair; and wrist and thumb arthritis.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
1. Demonstrate competence with a wide range of topics related to hand and upper extremity surgery;

4. Compare and contrast the different treatment methods for thumb CMC arthritis;
5. Engage in debates regarding nerve surgery;
6. Implement the aforementioned techniques in their practice.
