Description
The goal of our Annual Hepatology Symposium this year is to highlight advances in the field of Hepatology and Liver Transplant. We will highlight state-of-the-art updates in hepatology, including practice-changing insights from AASLD, contemporary management of decompensated cirrhosis and cholestatic liver disease, innovations in liver transplantation and endo-hepatology, evolving concepts in steatotic liver disease and alcohol-associated hepatitis, collaborative care models bridging hepatology and primary care, and interactive case-based debates addressing Hepatitis B management and optimal strategies for HCC surveillance.

1. Describe current approaches to the management of Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) and evaluate emerging treatment options
2. Discuss and place referrals for new safe modalities for management of portal hypertensive complications via endoscopy
3. Summarize the latest updated in the nuances of management of alcohol associated liver disease including early liver transplantation for alcohol associated hepatitis
4. Examine recent advancements in liver transplantation and consider their potential impact on clinical care
5. Evaluate the role of newer emerging modalities in the early detection of hepatocellular cancer
