Objectives

- Review recent research/developments/updates with regard to the topic of substance-induced psychosis.
- Discuss strategies to more effectively assess and differentiate etiologies of psychosis in cases with multiple plausible contributors.
- Review current evidence base (or lack thereof) distinguishing different individual substances and their relative propensity to cause or worsen psychosis.
- Discuss practical methods to integrate the above information into typical practice settings/encounters.
