Sexually Transmitted Diseases

January 13th, 2012 - January 13th, 2015
1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Hours

Description

Today on MedNet, we'll learn how to recognize and treat sexually transmitted diseases. It has been estimated that your patients are more likely to acquire a sexually transmitted disease this year than they are to develop breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, and prostate cancer combined. But these diseases do not get the kind of press that other diseases get. They just don’t make for polite public discussion. But as health care providers, we still need to know all about these infections.
