Objectives
1. Describe the limitations of traditional preoperative screening workflows and how these contribute to inefficiencies, delayed optimization, and inappropriate venue selection.
2. Learn about opportunities to integrate automated risk stratification into clinical workflows, including EHR-based decision support and referral pathways at Ohio State.
3. Assess the potential role of AI and automation (including agentic workflows) in enabling real-time triage and scalable perioperative care models.
